I'm the hands, and heart behind Roots in Portugal, and I'm thrilled to share a bit of my story with you! Of Portuguese descent, with a hint of German heritage and a touch of Alabama charm, my journey has been nothing short of eclectic.

Since my early years, I've been fortunate to explore various corners of the globe and immerse myself in diverse cultures. However, as I transitioned into the roles of wife and mother, I found myself yearning to plant firmer roots. After spending years navigating the corporate landscape and welcoming our newest family addition, I sensed a growing desire for something deeper, something that truly fulfilled my soul.

That's when Roots in Portugal was born! What started as small laser projects quickly blossomed into a full-fledged woodshop extravaganza! Armed with scroll saws, table saws, and routers, I embarked on a journey to turn my passion for woodworking into a business.
